We are having the most delicious leftovers! I can't wait to go home and eat them! I made Leek and Butternut Squash Lasagna last night and I know it sounds  but it was actually :w00t: The recipe was a bit labor intensive (thickening the white sauce took about twice as long as the recipe said) but I made it on Sunday afternoon when I had more time and baked it on Monday for dinner when I was short on time. It worked out really well. No one wanted to eat it but everyone ended up having seconds and the Hunt's asked if I would leave them some leftovers for this evening. I'll post the recipe if anyone is interested. |

I will never again cook any meal that you and Jamey will be eating. You guys are talking about things like homemade breadbowls and leek and butternut squash lasagna...and we had bologna and cheese sandwiches (well, I had grilled cheese because I hate bologna) and vanilla pudding for dinner tonight. I am getting a huge inferiority complex. Sigh. |

| Okay, leave my bread bowls out of your inferiority complex. I made dough in a bread maker, took it out, made four round lumps out of it, baked them, and the cut the tops off. It might have looked nice and tasted good, but it definitely wasn't hard. And I did say that my soup wasn't even good. Everyone has bologna nights (well, like you said, not bologna specifically, but in theory.) You also have three kids and a job. Laura has no kids, but a job, and have one kid and no job. |

| I don't count. I don't have kids and I don't work full time. Besides, we have plenty of evenings when we have cereal for dinner. |
