This hardly qualifies as a recipe (and I'm not completely sure it counts as healthy), but there isn't really a "snack" forum, so I'm putting it here. I've been eating a lot of this little combo lately, and it's SO yummy. Just thought I'd share...

Ritz Whole Grain Simply Socials crackers
cream cheese (the regular kind in the tub)
dried cranberries, diced

What kind of crackers with toppings do you like???

I have to admit that I don't usually top my crackers. I like crackers, but we don't have them too often. It always seems like they get eaten too fast. We're more likely to have popcorn or pretzels as a snack. If I did buy crackers mostly I just get Club crackers (definitely not healthy!) and we usually eat them plain, but sometimes I put some cheese on them. Exciting, huh?

Oh, I like Club crackers and cheese, too. I buy a lot of crackers. I think I'm a cracker junkie. :) The boys like them, but I think they like pretzels better. We did do peanut butter and jelly on Ritz during the summer for a quick fun lunch. (I also love popcorn. I am pretty much a carboholic!!! Not a healthy thing to be.)

I LOVE crackers, too which is why we never have any in the house. Matt likes to eat saltines (which don't count as crackers in my book) with PB for a snack and in his soup so we always have those. Christmas is really the only time of year that we have "real"crackers around. We like to have handy gourmet-ish snack foods around for when friends come over unexpectedly (dried sausages, assorted cheeses, olives, etc) and crackers go nicely with those items. We end up eating that stuff as small meals all season long.
