| I came home from working out this afternoon and was all excited about making lunch because 1) I was starving and 2) I had all the ingredients in the house (this is a miracle because we don't have much at the moment - Matt's unemployment ran out last week and the emergency unemployment doesn't kick in until October) to make a recipe I've been wanting to try for awhile. I mixed together all the stuff to make the grilled salmon burgers, formed the patties, went out to the grill, set the plate down to scrape the grate off....and watched as the plate flipped over and my salmon patties FELL ON THE DIRTY, LEAF AND TWIG COVERED DECK!!!! Can you believe that? I was so mad and so surprised I just stared at the stupid things on the ground and then started crying. It would have been so easy and so wrong for me to stop and get something "easy" on the way home from working out but no, we're trying so hard not to spend ANY money at this point and then I drop perfectly good food on the ground!!!!!!! I was not happy. |
