This is Aunt Sandy's recipe. It's fast and easy (like all good soup should be), and everyone in my family loves it! Even my boys who tend to be a little weird about "green things" in their food (except for broccoli, which they also love), can't get enough of this. Melia had it for the first time last night when I made it for supper...I just threw it in the baby food grinder...and she ate and ate and ate. It was nice to see how much she enjoyed it! If anyone is interested, I could share the recipe. We eat this pretty regularly at our house.

You gave me this recipe...at some point...and we really like it too. We make it fairly often, and it's very good.

Which silly girl would you be talking to here? I didn't know that you were interested. But, I will post it soon, since now I know you are. :)

1 19 oz package frozen cheese tortellini
2 10 oz cans cream of chicken soup
2 14 oz cans chicken broth
1 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
2 cups milk
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
chicken - cooked and cut up
* Sometimes I use leftover chicken, or cooked-just-for-this-recipe chicken. But usually (before Todd lost his job) I just open a big can (or two) of canned chicken, and that works just fine, too. Whatever floats your boat.

Cook tortellini according to package directions. (I tend to undercook mine just a teeny bit since they will be reheating in the liquid as I make the soup.) Drain tortellini. Combine all ingredients. Heat thoroughly.

That's it. Easy-peasy. And my kids all really love it. I hope you like it to, Laura.

Not yet. I have all the stuff. Matt wanted $5 pizza (gross - but easy).
