These are some funny incidents that happened this month that didn't get their own blogs.

One day we let Ben take his nap in our bedroom. We heard him thumping around up there as Andrew got home from work (I was feeding Elijah) and so he went upstairs to get him. He found Benjamin covered in a very slick substance. His hair was matted down, it was streaked down his cheeks, and his eyelashes were stuck together. Closer inspection of the bedroom led us to some empty KY Jelly bottles. He had dumped them over his head!

The other day Andrew was putting Ben's shoes on him and was talking to him about the things that they needed to do before they could go outside for a walk.

Ben: Huge yawn

Andrew: "Sorry, Ben. Am I boring you?"

Ben: "Yeah."

We also had our first "Is Ben with you?"---"No! I thought he was with you!" scare this month. We were at church which is in a high school gymnasium that opens up into a courtyard with some buildings around the sides of it and a path from one of the buildings in the back that goes down into the parking lot.

I was talking to the dad of a little girl's Eli's age about how she had slept through the night the night before. Andrew was helping take apart the music equipment. Ben was running around between us. I thought he was "helping" Andrew carry stuff to the storage room, Andrew thought that he was with me. Then Andrew came and joined the conversation and we realized that neither of us had Ben.

A quick visual glance of the gym told us that Ben wasn't inside anymore. Hopefullness said that he was out in the courtyard playing with the other kids. Reality was I ran around the corner of the courtyard and saw him going up the little slope that heads back down to the parking lot. I yelled, "Ben!" He smiled and yelled back "Mommy catch you!" And took off running. I caught him about four steps before he reached the parking lot. Yikes.

Ben also washed a pair of Andrew's contacts down the sink this month. We had a visit from Aunt Sarah & Nana. Elijah was diagnosed with GERD (gastro-esophogul reflux disorder) and had his first round of vaccines that we will end up having to pay a ridiculous amount of money for because of a Tricare snafu.
