I have 30 seconds to catch you up. Minimize

Just so you know where I'm coming from with the 30 seconds I have to tell you I have an exam tomorrow, a paper due Monday, a presentation and another exam on Wednesday...and that only brings us to 6 days from now.  There's plenty more to do I'm just going through the next 6 days with my blinders on.  Like a horse, it is for my own protection and for the protection of those around me.  Honestly, I'm typing as fast as I can.  I'm so busy I'm thinking of cancelling Thanksgiving.  Not the actualy day, mind you, but the pomp and circumstance of the meal.  I LOVE Thanksgiving.  I LOVE the food.  I LOVE the planning.  I LOVE preparing.  I LOVE organizing.  I don't have time this year.  I think its going to be me, Matt, and a pizza (and maybe some Pete's PD) watching the parade, sitting in front of the fire doing nothing.  Does that make me a bad person?  Gotta run.

I don't think that having pizza makes you a bad person, I think having pizza makes you a happy person! I also appreciate that even during your busy time crunch that you still play on our website. I think you should put your tests/papers up on the calendar so I can pray for you again too.

I think Thanksgiving is about being thankful, and however you "do it", that's ok. I just got a subscription to Family Fun magazine, and the November issue has some really cool "family thankfulness traditions" in it that I'd like to do with my kids someday. They are still a little young for most of it, but it's good to read about and think about. I think you and Matt and a pizza in front of the fire is a great way to spend Thanksgiving, and you shouldn't let anyone or anything make you feel bad about that! IT'S OK!!! :)
